I happened to chance upon this Brad Pitt recording and was astonished how bad the reading was. He's a great actor, of course, but it just goes to show how different mediums require different skills.
As an audiobook producer myself, what pains me the most is that many might have bought that book because of Pitt's involvement, only to be disappointed, possibly enough to be put off audiobooks altogether.
